Jarrett Lee specifically or the play-calling.
IMO it was the play-calling. Kevin Ford noted after the game that Miles and Crowton called six conseectutive pass plays right after Williams had gashed Tech on several runs. That was when most of the booing took place.

I think the fans booing the whoever will have a marked effect on the team and could lead to a situation similar to last year in which they quit. Furthermore, if the idiots booing teenagers don't think that the booing will have a direct impact on recruiting, they are crazy. This is something that MUST stop.
I am as disgusted as everyone else with the offense, but booing a college team is absolutely as low class as it gets and unfortunately why the LSU fanbase has the reputation it does nationally.

Jarrett Lee, of course.
A few who sobered up the next morning and felt bad about it have tried to revise history and say they were booing the coaches.
Those in my area of the stadium were yelling at Lee and Booing him.
Our fan base is just embarassing at times,and show no class.

everyone that considers himself an LSU should know good and well by now that when we have a player that is having a big game and kicking arse that the first thing the coaches do is take the game out of his hands....a hundred some odd yards on less than 15 carries? you're done keiland...200 yards against UK in the first half? you're done charles....not to mention the countless other times i don't recall that this has happened.

Agree. It was both, or maybe just the lazy attitude the entire team had toward the LaTech game. Scooter Hobbs had a good article on how this team plays to the level of its competition. That's why I think we'll be ready for Ol' Miss. All we need is a decent game plan (for a change) and somebody to man up on McCluster. If he so much as goes to the sideline for a drink, we need a Tiger player there snatching away the water bottle. He inhales. We exhale..for all four quarters.

If you can't handle booing keep your arse out of big time college athletics. This isn't Pop Warner or Jr High ball...can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. JL deserves every boo he got and should have his scholarship torn up at the end of the year.

+1. My older brother played QB back in the day in the old SW Conference. I'll never, ever forget hearing the jeers and boos, even when we were winning, which was the vast majority of the time. I was too young and the screamers too drunk to object, but I swore I'd never, ever boo a kid for playing sports. And I never have. There's a lot of money at stake, but they don't get paid, and they are so, so young. And you never know, the kids relatives (mom and dad) might be right next to you. Show some class, show some diginity...these are kids, for chrissake. If you have to boo a kid that's playing college football, then you don't have much of a life and I'd encourage you to expand your horizons.
