Good Place for Lunch in Kenner

(paging Tiger Attorney)... I'm going to be at the Pontchartrain Center next week for the bar admission ceremony, and am looking for a good lunch spot afterwards.
It doesn't have to be too close by. I just need a good place to take the family after the ceremony.
Thanks in advance.

Hey, someone...always a pleasure. I am assuming that you want to stay pretty close.
Le Parvenue is a good French restaurant on the other end of Williams in rivertown.
Also, I am pretty sure Ristorante da Piero is open for lunch now on certain days....this is probably the best or one of the best at least Italian places in the state. It is straight up Bolgnese in style and menu...the pasta dishes can be out of this world (all homemade pasta as well).
Vincents in Metairie is a good lunch option (I think you get a free martini per person at lunch. The original location in Metairie lacks ambience, but the veals and crab and corn bisque are always solid.
There is a Ruth's in Metairie on Vets.

Just drive into town and go to Commanders with everyone else.

Drago's in Metairie is a good option...a littel closer in town, but easily accessible still.
