For the love of Oprah...would you guys turn off the TV and sports radio? This shite does not bother you when you decide to be entertained by other things.

They are using it as a platform to bring attention to what they feel is a rule or interpretation of a rule that needs changing. It's obvious because they all conveniently leave out so many of the vital details of this story...notably Trindon's 40 yard return that basically made the penalty of little effect. They are counting on the fact that most people will have no clue of the "rest of the story" as that part doesn't benefit their "cause".

I did this concerning Fox and politics and, man, the U.S. is now a much better place to live.

For those who say poor tackling on the Scott TD run at the end was the problem, I suggest you go back and look at Curran (#35) attempting to make the tackle with #53 of LSU blocking him in the back and holding onto his jersey. I know this happens all the time and is not called but those who say GA did not tackle need to take a closer look. Curran is the best tackler on the GA team. However, even he has trouble tackling when being tackled himself.

.....UGA fan stuck in a field of sour grapes.

This is getting sooooooooooo tired.

They need to show about 100 Tebow celebration highlights where flags are not thrown.

That's my interpretation.

Who the frick said this? Hebert had a great, fully legal block on Curran. Can UGA fans bitch and whine about anything else?

They brought that up on the show. Said Tebow could be flagged on just about every play...

Did they show the Jake Locker celebration flag last year vs. BYU? That had even more effect on the game because it moved the extra point to a 35 yard kick and it got blocked with less than 10 seconds to play. UW lost by one.

To Curran's credit he made no such post-game reference, simply saying he got his hands on Scott but could not execute the tackle. He went on to give props to Scott and the LSU line for making a big play. Coach Richt did as well.

ok...see this is what you remember because that is probably all that the media reported to you about that game. They likely emphasized "it was one point" because that fits into the drama of the situation, and fits into the agenda they wished to present. It was one point not because of the penalty, it was one point because thats how overtime ended in BYU's favor.

Dunno my point, but i laugh alot at folks that think everything they read or hear is gospel and without some sort of slant.

And just to think...they didn't bring up Ramsey's chop block on Glen Dorsey from two seasons ago...

There are so so many "mistakes" and "missed calls" that can be pointed out, but it doesn't change anything. What matters is how a team reacts to overcome those things.

Maybe it was a bad call. Get over it and play better. The refs didn't cause GA to have an illegal formation on kickoff or miss the tackles on Holiday on the return nor on Scott on the TD. Plus, they had the same opportunity after they called the same thing on Scott.

Hey Media...quit whining and grow up. It's over...move on. Don't worry, you'll find something to bitch about this Saturday.
