If memory serves me (and it does not always) he was sent to Conneticut or somewhere in CFB netherland, and he finally said something to the effect "f-you, I'm not going.... give me the good games."

The way I remember it, it was about money. He wanted his salary to be on par with the featured hosts. He was a premadonna. Staged a "stay home" protest thinking he was too important for ESPN not to give into his demands. ESPN called his bluff and fired him on the spot.
I dont think he skipped out on a road trip. I think he simply refused to show up in studio that day.

Trev will be the next AD at Nebraska when Tom Osborne steps down. He is currently AD 60 miles east of Lincoln at UNO a Division 2 School in all sports. They are Division 1 in hockey.
