Jackson, MS: AJ's on Lakeland

The owner is an LSU graduate! Cool bar scene with 5 42" flat screens. Great spot to catch all LSU games!

Bangkok Thailand:

Bourbon Street Restaurant & Oyster Bar.

I am friends with Doug who is the owner. When I am there I either stay at his place as there are apartments over the restaurant (My second home). I can watch it on his cable or on my computer and Slingbox. I bring it everywhere.

I checked out Bourbon Street on my last trip to BKK. Doug Harrison is not from Louisiana as evidenced by the fact that he can't pronounce New Orleans properly and calls pecan pie "PEE CAN pie". He is a nice guy (I'm guessing from Georgia) but the game is never on his cable as you say unless by some fluke chance ESPN Asia is carrying it which is very rare. Just admit that you stream the game over the internet and prefer his rooms because of proximity the red light district.

Your best bet for watching Saints or LSU games is finding a reputable hotel with good broadband(preferably LAN connection).

I lived in BKK from 05-08 and went to Bourbon Street Bar on a regular basis. Maybe 2-3 times a month. It was a 20 minute walk from my apartment. Matter of fact, I went there to eat lunch right after I watched the 07 NCG at the Embassy. I don't ever remember them showing any LSU games.

Chicken,

I already mentioned Bourbon St. Restaurant and Oyster bar in Bangkok as I go there a lot (my second home).

For Abu Dhabi, UAE, me and my customer base Exxon Mobil watch it in either 2 places (Troy Rivette's or John Jorden's house) We watch every game usually at 4-5 am live with Bar-b-q Gumbo, Jambalaya.

State it like this:

Abu Dhabi , United Arab Emirates: Either Troy Rivette or John Jorden's home- comes with Gumbo, Jambalaya, Bar-B-Q, and drinks or Margaritas

I am Troy, been doing this for almost 10 years. Never missed a game if I was here, Bangkok, Bali, Egypt, Saudi, etc... We invite all teams' fans, makes for a great Housegate party at 1am till game time.

Ole Tom & Steelreign,

For the gentleman who is arguing what I said please see below. You know everything don't you???

I stay at Doug's place sometimes as I travel to Bangkok 5 times per year. When I am there during football season I keep the restaurant open with one chef, waitress, and one bar tender. We order a lot of food and drinks.

The game is usually on the ESPN feed or Fox feed (normally a big game or LSU is in prime time). If not, I hook a cable from my slingbox to his flatscreen and we watch it that way.

The red light district, they are everywhere. I am from Louisiana, my oil&gas customers go there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Its a 10 years stomping ground.

BTW, Bourbon Street Rest & Oyster bar moved from Sukhumvit Soi 22 to Sukhumvit Soi 61 (Ekkamai Road)

Cincinnati, Ohio. My house. Wifey is a chef that makes killer cajun foods. We also have tiger fans come over and do pot luck at each other's places on game day as well. Cheers !

I was in Athens and watched the LSU-Bama game on my laptop with a 3 AM start time thanks to justin tv. Same thing for the drumming of Arkansas from Melbourne, Australia with a ~6 am start time. Same thing in the lobby of a hotel in Queenstown, NZ for the SECCG. Without high speed internet and justin tv, I would have been out of luck. Geaux Tigers around the world.

I'll check it out. I'll be there for Idaho this year. Not sure where I'm staying yet and it's my first trip to Bangkok.

Chicken put it on the Home page. I know some don't make it there often.

I'm flying to Bangkok for Washington so I'll miss that game, but I'd like to see Idaho if I can.
