Agreed, but I don't think it will be nearly as bad as Saturday.

Maybe, but I think it is BS that so many LSU fans are talking like they know how much of a part Miles is playing in the individual offensive and defensive decisions, or that Miles is going out of his way to hold either coordinator back.

No one posting on these boards knows for sure.

Miles has proven the last couple of years that he'll allow Crowton to open up the offense after the 1st game

Haven't you read the rant lately? Over 50% of Rant posters are privy to the fact that Miles is going out of his way to hold back Crowton's playcalling.

Because it is absolutely impossible to believe that Crowton, or any other coach in the world except Miles, would believe in a conservative gameplan for that Washington team on the first week of the season.

Half the Rant knows what Crowton and Miles are thinking.

miles knows his team can beat ULL, miss st, and vandy without opening the playbook and showing anything.

At some point people that make these assumptions need to start linking some documentation

Miles has never seen like a dicator. In fact I get the sense the these choices are very much a group thing. Pitting Coaches against Coaches is not only stupid but it is pretty silly without basing it on anything

he will keep the game plan vanilla for those games so it can be used as an excuse for poor play

I don't think anyone is stupid enough to think Miles won't throw the kitchen sink at UGA/UF/Bama/Ole Miss/Arkansas (I hope..) I'm fine with a vanilla game plan in our first few games.. I would like to see some down field passing though.

For the love of god.. run THIS play

Maybe they can utilize that extra practice time of not running new plays to concentrate on blocking techniques and wrapping up on tackles.

I was at the game and was kinda shocked how sloppy the defense looked.

I have to admit I don't why I read the Advocate. People from Dallas , Houston, and Bunkie seem to have a inside link to the inner dynmaics of the LSU football and the personal relationships between the Coaches. Amazing. Why don't they write for the Picayune or Advocate with all their sources
