This guy either has no class or is actually afraid that Saban will never live up to the hype. The worst nightmare for Bama is that Miles continues to out coaches Saban over the next few years as Miles has already done in the past few.

How do you figure Miles outcoached Saban this past year?
Posted on 7/21/09 at 4:47 pm to 44jason
he wrote that right after he banged his sister/aunt
Posted on 7/21/09 at 4:47 pm to 44jason

Take Lee out of that game and he pretty much did..

i thought Miles did, we brought the #1 ranked team in the country to overtime despite even with Lee's performance while running all over the #1 run D in the country. They had a better team, but in that game I thought Miles outcoached him. Saban went conservative on offense when he could have blown us out, left us in the game

While I do believe Miles coached his best game last year against Bama, I was talking more over the course of the year. 12-0 > 7-5.
And Bama still beat us last year. So Saban > Miles in that game, regardless of the circumstances.

I stopped reading after ".... personal fowl..."

I love how he uses one meaningless game as the basis of why Miles is the worst coach LSU has ever seen...
Posted on 7/21/09 at 4:57 pm to 44jason
Why should you care what some hack from the Bleacher Report writes? Why should you care what anyone outside of the LSU community thinks of Les Miles? Winning cures everything, so all he has to do is keep winning and the rest will take care of itself.

Why do Bama fans spend so much time and effort over-analyzing everything Miles does?
Posted on 7/21/09 at 5:02 pm to 44jason
Actually that was about right and something I and alot of LSU fans see happening.
The lack of discipline gets more and more apparent. More trash talking, more struting around after a normal play.
Les needs to get a grip on this or last season will become the norm.

I wanted to know how a team with far superior talent lost to a team that shouldn't have won.
He says this early in his article-I'm thinking, you mean Alabama and Utah?

Great, so now they're 1 - 3 against "the worst coach in LSU history."
Note to Gump fans: when Miles gets to BCS bowl games, he WINS them. How did things go against Utah? I forget...

Alabama laid down against Utah. I dont think they even wanted to play it. Period.
I love Les Miles! He is my favorite all time LSU coach. BUT, he has made some of the dumbest coaching decisions I have ever witnessed in a game.
When it works, he looks like a genius.

44jason,
Yeah I can see how that would upset me too, until I see it's just another Bama guy.
Still can't that horrible image of that author's face of my head!

man i guess the fact that bama almost beat our national championship team in 07 with a bunch of scrubs is irrelevant.
even last yr, a more talented lsu team loses at home to bama. and whoever mentions lee throwing INTs, didn't bama commit three turnovers as well?

More talented? I count 2 LSU & 2 Bummers on the Offense & 2 LSU & 3 Bummers on the Defense. Bummer came to LSU with the #1 ranking in College football, and could not beat LSU in 60 minutes of Football.
Get off the dope Wang Chung.

Obviously, he's scared of Miles and/or LSU to feel the need to keep writing about him. If they weren't worried about Les, why the need to always write about him? You can point to one game for any coach in the country and say they were outcoached when they lost to an underdog. What does that prove? Name one successful coach who has been at a school at least five years and hasn't lost to an underdog.
