Honestly Manny is probably just as pissed as anyone. He isn't getting paid for these rehab starts. He would probably rather just stay at home, serve his 50 games then go back to the Dodgers.

Because he cheated and is supposedly banned from playing for 50 games. Seems like the punishment is more harsh if he isn't allowed to train with the team for those games as well

Yeah, he's allowed to play in up to 10 (?) minor league games although I think that he's only scheduled to play in 6 or so. He moves to single A next.
