I was watching the game on Sat and never thought it was that bad until I saw the dude come out on crutches. Felt bad for him.
He was a stud for Rice. Hope he is okay.

the third baseman, OwlFan86, Maximus and BilJ are all meeting at a Denny's outside of Lake Charles to rehash this past weekend's series and talk about old LSU-Rice games from yesteryear.

He's one of those guys who you can just tell has a natural ability to hit the ball.

So why was the LF badmouthing LSU's field when it was the SS that caused the injury?
Posted on 6/8/09 at 11:23 am to Ice Cold
yeah,,, hes a special talent and as I said on here before when he went down, I knew we were screwed he's good for a run or two a game
tough luck, but the silver lining is he wont play USA baseball and in the past that has hurt some players.

Talked to him at a local returant after the game. He is having an MRI today. Likely fracture.

the rice board was saying there were soft spots in the bullpen and that having on the field bulpens are injuries waiting to happen
the old box had the bullpens in the same place for 70years

My cousin pitches for Rice, my sister and nephew went to the Hilton to see him after the game. Renden, sp?, was on crutches wearing an ace wrap. They were saying a possible slight fracture.

How is not playing in USA Baseball "the silver lining"? A silver lining is a good thing in a bad situation.

FAIL!!!!
Back in the 1990's Home Bullpen was not in field of play, it was where Coon's Corner was located.
