Does anyone think UK plays lights out this weekend or does LSU continue their streak? I say LSU wins another close one. They're unconscious right now.

The easy thing to say is that Kentucky will be pissed off and bring its A-game Saturday, and that might happen. But this team just seems a bit beaten down. The focus is on the coach's job, and when that's the case, usually the players are alienated and playing like shite.

It's been 20 years since the Tigers won at Rupp, and I think the Rupp drought ends Saturday.

Wow! I didn't realzie it had been that long. It'll be a tough game. UK is a bubble team who will be desperate as hell. We're going in on a high really. It'll be a tough atmosphere. Although, I honestly don't think a loss would be that bad.

I thought remember watching LSU beat Kentucky in Rupp in 2006 with Glen Davis and Company. Am I missing something, or have I proved you wrong yet again Adam?

That must have been the PMAC since it was an odd number of years ago, but it feels like it was Rupp for some reason

I think it boils down to the fact that we are the better team. And the better team usually wins. Tigers Roll!

i believe it will be a tough feat to accomplish, but LSU has been playing at the top of their game, and if thornton comes to play, LSU will take home the SEC championship on saturday

That was actually the most recent LSU basketball game I attended. For some reason, LSU never plays any games at Madison Square Garden.

I believe this may be LSU's toughest game. UK got embarassed last night, and they will be ready for LSU Sat. Patterson will want to prove a point after getting his arse handed to him yesterday.

Never underestimate Kentucky, especially in Lexington. With that said, after UK's humiliating performance last night, they better not take LSU lightly. It'd be folly on their part to assume they'll win since its at home.

I was at the USC/Kentucky game last night and it was just poor coaching on Kentucky's part. Every time Patterson got the ball down the low, the weak side defensive player would come over and block his shot. Patterson never kicked it out or looked for the open guy and there were open guys. Patterson kept getting his shot blocked over and over. Our bigs should be able to block a few shots as well if Patterson continues with that type of play. Also, Kentucky is averaging almost 20 turnovers a game - they dont take care of the ball.

LSU has won a whopping 4 games in Lexington vs Kentucky. Never beat them in Memorial Coliseum. First win came in 1979.

So we have more CWS titles than basketball wins at Lexington (vs UK).

this game is going to be tough...patrick patterson is a beast...he's a projected 1st rounder in the draft this june...we always struggle with big men who are legit...with meeks on the perimeter i think we are going to let patterson beat us up down low...

will be a game very similar to @ miss st. when venardo went off on us but we were able to squeek out a victory....if i had to guess, i would predict LSU to be favored by 2 points with the o/u at 155
