only one i have been to is the Magazine street Saturday one...and yes, it's pretty weak. Is there a better one?

Try the Tuesday at Uptown Square. Broadway and River Road(Leak Avenue) Good prepared lunch specials and really good seafood from Clara Gerica.

There's on Girard on Saturday mornings. I've always thought/heard that was the best one by a lot.

Gretna is pretty good as well...the best IMO is the Vietnamese one in the East...got to get out there by 6/6:30 though...7 at the latest.

that's the one we are talking about. Magazine and Girod. Really nothing special at all. i was dissapointed the 2 or 3 times i have been.

There is one in Mid City in the parking lot of the American Can Company. It goes from 4-7 pm on Thursdays. It's small, but the quality is good of the products offered.
As usual though, I am sure the offererings will be better once warmer weather returns.

Yes, saturday for the viet one.
Mid City is small.
I love the tamales at the Gretna one....
The Freret Market once a month is the best overall market around...only part of it is food related.
