1) a blue chip recruit
2) taking off your purple and gold glasses (or whatever
3) wanted to go to the university that would
a) give the best chance for you to go pro (i.e. development)
b) give the best education
c) give the best university experience

What would your top 3 look like?

I guess position does matter, but I'd like to treat it like it doesnt. There are too many examples where a great recruit goes to 'position -U' and doesnt live up to the billing:

i.e. JD Booty - USC QB U
Jimmy Clausen - ND under Weis

And other examples where you have tremendous success and development at non-traditional universities
Eli - Ole Miss (shite hole U)

So pretend it doesnt matter. Because in some/most cases, it doesnt.

I took the college towns, academic reputations, traditions, and on-field success into account.

A: Best chance to go pro: Florida
B: Best Education: Stanford
C: Best Experience: Texas

----------------------

If I were making a list of schools, mine would mainly be based on academics:

1) Stanford
2) UVA
3) UNC
4) ND

P.S. I would have been one of the guys that leave the state...

I'd hate to say it but I'd probably pick USC b/c of where its located and all the gorgeous poon. Pretty much the same reasons McKnight went there for.

It doesn't matter. If you are stud, you can go to mcneese or u.s.c., you will be drafted. plain and simple. Just as many pro's come from small no name schools at they do big time. if your good, your good.

t.o.
randy moss
jeff garcia
kurt warner
demarcus ware

ect. you can go on and on. Brian Urlacher, marcus colston, ect.
