I saw this playoff generator on this board. Its pretty fun to play with.

Also, some positive news... according to this playoff generator is IF (and I say IFthe right things fall into place the saints could go to the playoffs at 9-7...VERY VERY VERY unlikely)

Sorry...forgot the link!

This is the one i generated. This is my guess as to how things will shape up. For most of the games i considered toss-ups, i picked the team that would help the Saints more (not in all games, for example, i have Denver beating Carolina). With this scenario, the Saints get the 5th seed.

After having played with this for a while myself, I'm surprised at what good shape we're in.

As long as Wash and Carolina do in fact lose, it would take some pretty unrealistic things to happen for the Saints to miss the playoffs at 10-6.

That would be something. Personally I think we are gonna need a lot of luck to steal one in Chicago on Thursday night. We are still horrendous on the road for some reason.

6-1 at home, though. I don't think we have ever been this hard to beat in the dome. Go figure.....

wining out is a virtual must, although I even found ways they could make it in with a loss. The most critical 'help' games they need and that are not unbelieveable upsets IMO are:

TB over Caro Monday

Week 15- TB over Atl, NYG over Dal, & Den over Caro

Week 16- Balt over Dal, Minn over Atl, Phil over Wash

Week 17- Phil over Dal

I did mine where the saints win the division. TB vs Carolina has to be a tie game

What's the weather going to be like in Chiago this week?

Will Payton stick with his newly discovered love of the running game?

if we are in a 4 way tie with Washington, Carolina and Atlanta, Washington and us make the playoffs due to the generator

I played with it, looks like we need Tampa to win all division games, we gotta win out, and need a little help holding off Carolina and Atlanta.

Dallas losing today helped!

Most important thing is we don't need any upsets to get in.
