Even before the collapse this year, I thought next year would be a 9 or 10 win season. Our schedule is actually pretty favorable. The UGA could become much easier if Stafford and Moreno leave.

I expect the D to be improved, and I expect the QB play to be improved. To be honest, I could see a year like 2005 where we're pretty good, but not great. Much like Russell was coming into his own this year, I expect either Jefferson or Lee to do the same next year with RS adding to the mix.

The big * is who we get as D coordinator, and how the recruits coming in play next year.

I'll let you know when I have something to base it on. Maybe ask again around April.

I agree 10-2 - Split with UGA/UF and AU/Bama.

8-4 is the low water mark...

Washington - Win
Vandy - Win
ULL - Win
MSU - Win
UGA - Loss(close)
UF - Crushing Loss(embarrassing)
AU - Win
Bama - Loss
Tulane - Win
La Tech - Win
Ole Miss - Loss
Arky - Win

Schedule fricking blows by the way. Anything more than 4 losses on that schedule is pathetic and 4 is pretty bad.

If you think we'll have one loss going into the SEC championship game, you're out of your mind.

I'll give my educated guess as to how next season pans out. Bear in mind that some of these teams will be better than expected next year (see 2008 Alabama) or worse than expected (See 2008 Auburn), but either way I see us losing 4 games.

Washington - W
Vanderbilt - W
UL-Lafayette - W
Mississippi State -W
Georgia - L
Florida - L
Auburn - W
Tulane - W
Alabama - L
Louisiana Tech - W
Ole Miss - L
Arkansas - W

No prediction until we see what we have for players and a coaching staff.

I love how all you fools said the gumps sucked last year. They're pretty good this year and beat us. Now you people pick a Bama win again next year. I guess you all think Bama is back to rule the roost in the SEC again huh? Newsflash, they won't beat us every year. They were lucky to beat a bad LSU team this year.

8-4/9-3. Losses to Florida, Bama, Ole Miss and maybe one other SEC opponent.

No one expected them to undefeated and 1 win away from the national championship game. If their quarterback next year is JUST decent, they will be even better.

Until I see vastly improved QB play there is no reason to think we will fair any better then 2008. Not to imply QB is our only shortcoming but without an improvement at that position, other changes may not matter.

8-4. We win one we shouldn't and lose one we shouldn't. Maybe lose Vandy and beat GA or something like that.

Either next year is going to be 10 win season good, or no post-season bad IMO.

You're right. I put Arkansas as a W simply because of the law of averages... you would think we could beat ARKANSAS once every three years. But the truth is that Arkansas will be better next year than they are this year.

Ole Miss Georgia and Alabama loss a lot to the 2009 draft and to graduation. Fla. will be stout if tebow stays. Georgia and Alabama with new QB's. Alabama and Ole Miss lose big time on o and d line.
I think we could lose 2 and still play in the sec championship game.
