What happens to this guy when Tom Brady comes back? I cant just see him going back to back up status. Do they trade him, and where does he go? IMO the kid is doing a helluva job where hes at but he is no Tom Brady!

Not sure how much time he has left on his contract, but it could be a Matt Schaub-type situation.

too bad the pats are in the playoff chase or detroit could have tried to throw a trade package together. probably unlikely anyways, but well see what happens
regardless, detroit drafting stafford does not make them better next year

If Detriot puts a FA deal together for him that would free them to upgrade at LT(I would presume) in the first round. Kevin Smith is actually having a decent year and Calvin Johnson has been solid.
If both of those moves work out Detriot's O would be pretty legit.

He'll be a free agent at the end of this year, and with the weak QB draft class he'll get big-time $$$ from someone.

He was available as of yesterday in my league. (Eight team league)
I have Romo and Warner so I didn't grab him.
