Guys I am not here bashing the two gentlemen, I believe Miles made a mistake and at the end of the year he will address this issue. As a potential recruit like McFarland does this co- thing hurt LSU on prospects at the present moment. If it is hurting us overall at what point should Miles address this issue to bring the potential top notch prospects back into the picture. (My personal choice is right after the Arky game)

What hurts LSU the most is some of its more ignorant fans are the loudest and most persistent detractors!

Interesting question that I hope Miles is assessing. All I know is that our defense was hyped to be better than last year and we have dropped out of sight in defense national and sec polls. Something happened. We all know Pelini left. I hope Miles knows more than me.

Our fanbase not supporting our team by constantly attacking our BCS Champion Coaching staff and not supporting our team by leaving in droves during a game is hurting LSU.

We have met the enemy and they are us!

I know our fans are hard on the coaching staff sometimes but that is just how it is!!
We dont have a DC and we need to go shopping for one!

We have talent and are getting talent... WE NEED A SCHEME!!!

right, because when les makes a mistake, like playing danny mccray for two years, he usually fixes it rapidly. He is also know to be a hardass who never gives anyone second chances.

Last time i checked LSU had the #2 class in the country. So please explain how you feel our recruiting has been hurt.

Next time think before you post.

Well, according to the scuttlebutt, Jones demoted LSU to fourth place in part because of the DC's.

We really need help at linebacker. Losing Jones would not be a good recruiting development.

rumors hold no water IMO and according to Sonny Shipp, the "scuttlebutt" is wrong

I don't know where you got that, because Sonny is the one who first broke the news.

Maybe YOU need to do a little research before you post.

I never once said our recruiting was hurt. I asked a simple question, since most people who follow recruiting consider this as a very reputable site. If this is hurting the recruiting trail then a what point should Miles address the situation to try and pull these last few availabe elite players with the remainig few scholarships left

The co-DC deal may be affecting us on the field but it is having zero negative effect on recruiting. We are ranked #3 and will probably climb higher by NSD.
