Anyone know of a place in NOLA/BR that:

1. Sells a mean goat dish?

2. Sells fresh goat meat?

There is a Jamaican restaurant on Tulane (Palmer?) off of Jeff Davis (just north of the intersection) that sells good jerk goat.

If you find one let me know. I'd like to spit roast a whole goat. I've eaten it and it was ok but I think the goat was too big. I know I can do better. I might do it like My Big Fat Greek Wedding in the front yard.

I also want to cook a suckling pig. I'll do that as well when it cools off.

I know that Superior Grill in Baton Rouge used to cook Goat on Saturday nights (I don’t know if they still do it or not)

Martini, that has all the making of a great Food and Drink Board Party.

Also, curry goat is on the menu at Nirvana I think.

I found a place up here that serves a spicy goat curry. It's one of the spiciest things I've ever eaten.

I'm not sure if I'm sold on goat. I'll have to try it where I can actually taste it and I'm not shoveling yogurt into my mouth to curb the burn.

Ok I'm in. Where is your front yard? I'll bring the goat.

This invitation list needs to be selective...no OT or Rant spillover.

Liborio's is a great Cuban place in the New Orleans CBD. I'm not sure if it's always on the menu, but I know they often have a stewed goat special. It's very good.

Oh dear god no. And no Monroe Sicilians. We'd have to cook a flock of goats to feed all of them. Or is it a herd? Fleet?

Superior did it on Friday night and the Cabrita was awesome. They will still do it if you ask them. Ask Chris to get a goat and he will.

But how are we truly to enjoy life (and this party) without the only pizza on earth?

I believe Johnnys use to serve a Sweep the Farm...it had an awsome seared goat meat topping.

Well it's at your house in New Orleans the only city in the country with good food so I imagine we can make do.

Venezia's.

That good food is not found at my house though.

If you could parouse the chain restaurants in Perkins Rowe to give us an array of corporate foods that would really enhance the goat dining experience.
