Interesting perspective

Remember guys this was supposed to be the "rebuilding" year!

Also, I think it’s time to start Chad Jones at nickelback. Poor Danny McCray has had too many strikes against him on the field now.

Although the ball didn’t bounce the Tigers’ way this time, I’d like you to think about the fact that Les Miles had a lot to do with that particular change in the framework of your mind. He rewired your outlook and how you root for your team.

this is very true...I never would have felt 10 years ago that we would come back and beat a BAMA team on the road after they jumped out to a 10-0 lead (2005) or even come back on AU this year after they jumped out with the 10-3 lead...and the Ole miss game in 2006??? Never would have had faith in them coming back like they did in that game...at least not before old LESticles came into the picture

I agree. I don't hate McCray, but it is an ABSOLUTE tragedy not having Chad Jones on the field on any defensive play.

"For LSU, despite what the scoreboard says, this wasn’t a bad loss."

Did Peveto write that article?
If thirty points is not a bad loss, what is?
We got manhandled on both sides of the ball. All those guys in the trenches are not replacements. Barksdale is the only new starter, he played some last year and was supposedly better than the guy he replaced. Lee was more productive than either JR of Flynn were the last two years so don't use him as the scapegoat.
Maybe we need a different defensive player to call the defensive alignment because there is a lot of uncertainty on defense.

Stop sulking, Tiger fans—you have a chance to make Steve Spurrier unhappy this week. That should put a smile on your face.

Fair and concise. "For LSU, despite what the scoreboard says, this wasn’t a bad loss. It might be hard to wrap your head around that right now, as most LSU fans have been blinded by recent success, but you just can’t bring a redshirt freshman quarterback to Gainesville on a night where the running game gets held in check and expect to win. You just can’t. LSU still controls its own destiny in the SEC West."

He meant "in the grand scheme of the season," not in performance. Of course it was a bad loss in terms of performance. He explained that in the next sentence.

lee isn't the problem

He also isn't part of the solution yet. He's too inconsistent, and defenses aren't really respecting him as a thrower yet.
