Who has Vandy beaten? An Auburn team (at home) whose offense has put up 3, 14, 7 and 13 pts over the last 4 weeks? Until Vandy beats UF and/or UGA, they will stay low in the rankings.

It doesn't bother me that Mizz jumped us this week when we had a bye because we did the same last week.

They have done as much or more than most of the teams ranked ahead of them. The fact that an undefeated SEC team is ranked behind 1 loss teams is wrong. LSU fans would be screaming bloody murder if we were in their position.

Unless, I am mistaken (probably not) they have beaten 2 SEC teams, one being Auburn, which is really all lsu has done to this point.

Why does everyone say that the SEC is the toughest conference in the nation... but when Vandy beats a Auburn team who could be considered one of the best teams in the conference every is like "oh they haven't played anyone"

they beat three team from the SEC, two of which were ranked in the top 25... if they haven't played anyone maybe they should move them out of the top 25 than....

same thing with Bama... after they beat UGA... everyone says oh well UGA was overrated anyway....

tough to defend an argument that the SEC is the best conference in the nation when you are calling your own teams overrated.

Vandy is probably deserving of 15th. They will probably lose a few games. They don't look like a powerhouse to me.

Vandy and Alabama are both poised for a fall.

Okay the fact that Alabama remained #2 after BARELY winning their game and getting 13 first placed votes speaks to the idiocy of some of these writers. At home, against Kentucky (who we all know is not bad), and you win by 3? I give Mississippi State better chances of upsetting highly ranked teams than I would ever give Kentucky. I know it will all work out but it's hard to listen to the delusional gumps here in Atlanta when they get ranked so highly; like it's their birth rite or something close.

99% of the NCAA will probably "lose a few games" this year.

Yes. Tell me why Vandy would not be competitive with any of these teams:

USC( Oregon St??)
Ohio State (USC??)
Florida (Ole Miss??)
UGA (Bama??)
BYU (don't know much about BYU)
Texas (no pass defense)
Texas Tech (no defense)

All of these teams have shown they can be easily beaten.

Well we play at UF next week right?

All the other teams ahead of us have 1 or more victories than we do

The ranking is still generous to LSU IMO. The other teams look better than LSU IMO..Can any of us argue the facts> The eye test?

Our D has issues, and we still have freshman QB making his 2nd start.. 1st this week in a tough road game....

We need to be realistic.

I will take a BARELY win over an we ALMOST won any day of the week. I guess since you BARELY beat that powerhouse Auburn peam you should be ahead of us. I didn't see LSU fans complaining last year when you were playing in the BCS MNC game after UK BARELY BEAT you !
