Do you have a bad hair problem from your golden? I have a golden that is getting up there in age and would to bring him in eventually but....he sheds terribly.

I love German Shepherds. That will probably be my next dog. I just don't want other dog owners / baby's parents to get nervous around it. What is your experience?

I really havent had any problems with people getting nervous around my shepherd. She's about to finish k-9 academy and is pretty well mannered. The only people that Ive encountered that were nervous around her were people who didnt like dogs in general.

Shepherds are working dogs and have a high drive so be prepared to have your hands full until you get her well trained. The good news is they are very intelligent and you can train them relatively easily. They have a strong protective drive and really feed off of the energy of their owner.
