Would you trade an eotech for a saiga?

I currently have an eotech 512. A buddy of mine really wants my eotech. He offered to trade me his saiga chambered in 223. I dont know much about saigas but it has less than 200 rounds fired through it. Should I make the trade?

not much difference in price, so it is up to you and how good a friend you want to be to him. One thing I will say is that I could see the Saiga increasing a little bit in value over time (say after the next media spectacle)...not so much with the eotech. So it might be a good investment in the long run.

New, they are both 375-400 range, unless he's got something special. I'd keep the gun over the optic though. Can only use one w/o the other

I would make that trade, I see the 512s on sale a lot recently for around $380. The saiga is a $450-$500 gun nowadays.
