I've got poison ivy right now, and I'd gladly take a bad sunburn instead.

Have never had PI, not sure why either. I've been plenty of places where I would assume it was, lucky me I guess.
In my youth I fell asleep on the beach after a rather exhausting night, sunburn is a bitch and I'm not overly white in complexion.

sunburn way worse. have had poison ivy many times and bothers me less each time. itching barely bothers me now but a real sunburn hurts like a mother.

Chiggers are in the discussion. Got into some this weekend. Didn't make it all the way to my balls, so I'm good.

I'm going with that. I get poison ivy and sunburns multiple times a year. Chiggers will wake me up in the middle of the night.

How does that even happen? I've never gotten poison ivy/oak/sumac anywhere that was covered in clothes.

I'm allergic. I look at poison ivy and get a rash.

And whatever you do don't burn it. I've never done it but I had teacher in high school was hospitalized for over a week from doing that. His lungs were closing up from breathing in the smoke.

Poison ivy sucks but won't cause skin cancer repeatedly

I've had the stuff from my eyes to the balls to the feet and would trade any of them for a skin cancer episode

I've had sunburn pretty severe couple times, would not choose poison ivy over a severe burn ever. Undershirt glued to a complete blistered back
