I'm looking for a windshield for my Ranger 800. Considering one of those half wind shields instead of full.

Pro's/Con's

Thanks.

Get the one the folds down in the middle, best of both worlds. IMO

This. They suck sometimes when they're dirty, but are huge when it's freezing outside and you're zipping down the levee

They are nice, just have to watch the hinge doesn't dry-rot if it's not a metal hinge that is.

Get it so I won't get wet when you drop me off at my deer stand and it is raining out.

They make a some for golf carts that are secured with Bungee cords. Like thick plastic and can be folded up when not in use. Wouldn't cost much.

$20
They may not last forever. Just buy one at the beginning of the season.

I needed one for my Kubota RTV.The one from Kubota was 450.It was made of Lexan.I ended up buying some padded stainless steel pipe clamps from Mcmasters Carr for about $10.I bought a 4x8 sheet of Lexan from a plastics distributor in BR for $85.I made a template and cut the windshield using a sabre saw.I made one for the back too.Put weatherstripping around the edge and it works awesome.Dont use plexiglass it will break if bent.

They suck a fatty when it's real dusty. Pulls it back in and throws it in your face/eyes/mouth/beer.

we don't have one on our Kubota 4x4 for the farm. Nice during most of the year, however it can get cold in the winter
