and where?

I'll be launching at Fred's tomorrow morning, first chance in a while to get out to Big Lake, hoping to those waters will be kinda protected.

taking the new yak out for the first time on Allatoona behind my house. Will have fishing rod. But there is also a Pro Wakeboard competition going on within 100 yards of my put it, so I'm gonna paddle out and enjoy a little bit of that as well. The waves might hinder the fishing part.

Will hopefully be picking one up in a few hours. Will test it out at some point this weeked. Going from a flats boat to a kayak is going to take some getting used to, but at least I have a crapload of money in the bank and still get to fish

Were you pulling your Ranger east bound on 90 yesterday? I saw what looked like your exact boat behind a crew cab chevy

Good news is I actually sold it for more than I paid (got a rediculous deal from someone who I assume needed to get out of a note), so I have enough money to buy a bad-arse kayak. Everything kinda worked out.

What yak are you going with?

I've had my Wilderness System RIDE 135 for a 1.5 yrs now and have no complaints.

I think I'm going to go with the Hobie Pro Angler 12. It's pricy, but I have the extra cash and this will be something I'll probably hold onto for a while. I've got famliy members with camps in the Coco Marina and up by Robinson Canal in Cocodrie, so I have easy access to a lot of marsh within paddling/peddling distance to have years of use out of it.

I'll be slipping mine in near Bayou Savage, not sure if we're hitting the Reds or Green trout.
