Has to be WMA compliant and load from the muzzle.

Not sure anyone can really say, but I have a CVA Accura V2 that is a few years old and I have not had any issues. Really depends on budget, range, etc. Brother in law has the scout and it has been lights out and barely $200 I believe

CVA Accura is a great muzzleloader. The Thompson Center Encore is a great one also. It gives you the option to switch barrels.

I have a Thompson Center “hawkens” model 50 caliber with rifled bore. Iron sights but very accurate. I am 3 for 3 so far. It came in kit form. Beautiful rifle and very accurate.

I don’t think TC is still making rifles or muzzle loaders.
You’d have to find used.
I may be wrong however

I didn’t know that about Thompson Center.
The CVA Accura has a Bulgera barrel on it and is guaranteed at 100 yds to group shots of 3. I think I paid about $500 when I bought mine 6-8 yrs ago.

True.
Find a TC Omega. Should be able to get one for under $300.
250gr Shockwave with 150gr of triple seven is devastating. Mine has killed 4 hogs in one hunt, and about 10 deer. Extremely accurate and drops them all right there.
