2001 GIII (sold by Skeeter, but a GIII hull regardless) with 75 hp yamaha. 17.5' single console, laid out like any other bass boat. Only downside I have to my boat is I have seen the exact same boat rated for a 115 and mine is maxed at 75. Great boat, would recommend.

How big of a boat are you looking at? I had an Xpress 1650 this a 50 on it. With the hyperlift hull, it was like a little mini bass boat. I sold it a few years back because I do have a bass boat and needed a hunting boat with a smaller motor because some of the places we hunt have HP restrictions.

Probably a 16 or 17 footer.
I can't get one yet, but I got bit by the boat bug.

14 foot tracker from Bass Pro w/ live well. It is perfect for us. We fish 2 lakes on our farm- don't think I'd go into current with it.

I have had a 1650 Xpress hyperlift, 1648 Weldbilt, and 1550 GIII. The Express was the best riding hull by a large margin.

Not me, but my FIL has a circa 95 Bass tracker with a 60hp Johnson. Great little fishing boat. However, the hull is just a touch too flat and gets stuck on every stump in the lake, and i mean STUCK. We've spent hours trying to flag down boats to pull us off.

Whatever you get, make sure it has a nice V hull.

That's what I have but I don't fish bass. Bream, white perch.

that's my favorite boat on the water right now. I offered them my left and right nut, they said that wasn't enough.

That's what I was thinking.
Just pickin up some opinions.
Do the v hulls ride similar to fiberglass boats?

I have an 18' Xpress with a Yamaha 70 4 stroke...I duck hunt - deer hunt - fresh and saltwater fish out of it...very happy with it...easy to keep up and easy on the pocket book to run...Xplorer series with the spray in liner in it...no carpet for me...

I know the V hull will help it when cornering, but as far as ride quality, i would assume so.

Would love to have this as a second rig, exclusively for fishing the Red River.
