FWIW my dad just sold a early 80's 15ft Cajun Special with a 30 mariner for 2k. It needed new carpet and trailer needed rewired.

I'm going to guess that IF it was riveted, you WOULD KNOW.

And if it is, I'd knock off AT LEAST $500.00. Personally, I would NEVER own a boat with rivets.

Yes.

Then I bet it's welded. Run outside and check and let us know.

Start at like 3500. You can let your self get "worked down" to 3. I think you have a great little boat,

no clue on age

Check the hull sec#. The last two numbers will give the year it was built. Sec on the motor will tell too!

You might get $1800, but more closer below $1500.

I bought a loaded 17 foot boston whaler with a cover two working engines etc etc for 4k. Same boat on east coast 8k. It just depends. In rural Mississippi worth less, etc. Ask for 2700 and try to get 2-2500. look on local craigslist etc for comps.

OP, the reason I'm giving you a low price is that the motor is a time bomb. It is most likely a early to mid 1980's motor. Check nada for a price range. But, it depends on how long you are willing to sit on it to sell it. There are always a shite load of tire kickers. Also, those size boats have become a dime a dozen in the $1500- $2000 range. Check ads in your area to compare what is what and base your selling price on that. I don't think someone in the market will travel a long distance to buy a boat that old. Your local market is going to be your best bet to sell.

I'd ask on the higher end of whatever you're thinking. A few years back I sold my flat. It as a 16' CC flatboat with a Yamaha 40 and a trolling motor. All the gauges and stuff didn't work anymore. It was about 7 years old. I parked it on the main road in Slidell and asked around $4K for it. Within a couple hours I had a few guys who all wanted it and were racing to get to me with the cash first. I wish I had asked another $500 or so for it. Lots of people looking for little boats like that. When the first guy got here, it wouldn't even start. It had laid up for about a year unused, but started fine when I tested it that morning. He didn't even care that it wouldn't start.
ETA- You can always come down on your price, but you can't go up.
