Unique (and NICE) choice Indeed, Opinels are good knives.

Forgot I had this one too. Got it as a Christmas gift. Made somewhere up near the NW Arkansas area I believe. Fits great in back pocket.

MattStin,
You may not know it, but you, my friend, are in possession of what I think to be the best ever squirrel skinning knife. I also have one and it's my go to knife when I go squirrel hunting. Lots of times I'll carry it in my back pocket on other kinds of hunts, as well.

I have a number of different pocket kvives in my carry rotation. Recently, it's been this $10 liner-lock w/ a 3" blade. It's made by Maxam and was bought from Smokey Mountain Knife Works.

kershaw onion w assisted opening - have had gerbers and spydercos on past and liked them but the one handed opening kershaw is very nice. Just looked at mine it was made in 08 - 5 yrs for a pocket knife for me - might be a new record.

All very nice tools. I own several different brands of nice knives. But when I head out into the fields or marsh I carry cheap ones because I do have a tendency to loose them.

A cheap $10 spring operated knife from a gun show. Very sharp and has lasted me a long time.
