I went out the other day and couldnt get anything to bite in some local ponds. I tried a zoom trick worm that pulls them in for me usually, tried it various speeds and not a bite. Then it was kinda late in the evening so i pulled out the top water and again not even a curious nip at it. So I went with a crankbait and still got nothing. Tried a jig lastly and never got a nibble. Suffice it to say what do yall do in this situation?

senko, if u can't catch a bass on it, you're probably not gonna catch anything

Finesse worm wacky rigged. Or if I have my ultralight with me a tiny brush hog Texas rigged on a 1/0 hook with a 1/16 oz bullet weight.

slow down presentation and down size lure aka finesse
senko or fluke for me.

If its windy or the fish are deep your screwed with this approach though. So Crankbait or carolina rig in the wind/deep.

My go to is a Zoom finesse work Black Saphire (Black on top blue sparkle on the bottom) If never not caught fish on that color. I texas rig it and swim it fast on top of the water like a baby snake or bump it along the bottom. I always fish it weightless.
