I honestly have no idea. I fish inshore salt 90% of the time so I've been thinking best application for me. The VM 150 is one of their smaller reels but it's bigger than my 3000 size shimanos. It 21.5 oz too so it's pretty heavy.
I'm thinking about putting it on a 7 ft heavy power rod (lightest in weight I can find) and make it my redfish setup for for live/dead bait. It could also double as my red/mangrove snapper setup. That might not be most ideal for this reel but I'm thinking in terms of ways I'll really use it.
