Public ramp in Hackberry was full up Sat morning, bait camp sold out before 5 am. Plenty fools running south to wiers in pea soup fog to catch a fish.

I'll be there on Saturday. Not sure if I'll mess with bait or not. First time this year the wind has stayed below 15mph on a Saturday or Sunday.

I believe this is the start. Two days and lots of fish and zero females. Plus, the bite was super aggressive which says to me this was actual feeding, not guarding.
