+1

Sorry to hear about your house getting torn up. The best you can do is just prepare for the event again in the future.

But just to clear things up...

Being "robbed" usually implies some sort of force was used to obtain your stuff.

Being "burglarized" means you weren't there when your stuff was stolen.

Just to clear that up...

Could you make an outline with video to hammer home this point?

Actually, I was thinking the same robbery / burglary thing as Bapple.

That would be a pretty short video.

we are in McKinney and there are tons of construction (homes/Schools/strip malls) around us and it has been more common for the daylight walk in robbery. My wife stays home so there is always a car at out house, but who knows. they see your schedule and boom.

Point of the story - don't think they didn't see the other stuff you had. Most likely they scouted it out when they were inside.

Dog is free in the house and alarm is on today.

Good man. You might want to get a second dog. A true guard dog.

The last thing I need is another dog. He's intimating enough to deter 25% of Dallas.

Also its always a good idea to have an excel sheet with all your guns info: serial number, make, model, etc.

Hey, it was 7:30 am when the POS kicked-in the door on my house in Houston with my son in it...broad fricking daylight and didn't care that someone was in it. I hope you've given her a gun and taught her to use it.

I went through the same shite 4 years ago. House broken into in the middle of the day. Assholes stole three guns (two shotguns and a rifle). The "officer" who came to my house said "i doubt we find anything". I had one follow up call from a detective a day later. And my guns are still out there.

We should go back to the days of cutting thieves hands off. At least they could only steal twice.
