I came home to find that I'd been robbed. My wife didn't set the alarm and my dog was shut in the laundry room. I had alarm signs, evidence of a big dog, and they did it in broad daylight. They only took a few things, but my kimber .45 was of them. It's a shitty feeling.

I'd give anything to catch that scumbag. I've got a pretty good feeling it was some sort of crack head. They took my change jar and every prescription I had.

That sucks man. Just hope the guy is stupid enough to try to sell it. Have a friend that had a 3 day old ar15 stolen from him. He reported the numbers but still has never gotten it back. I hope they find that guy though before he steals more guns.

I really lucked out. I had a mess of guns in the next room and they obviously didn't check there.

Damn, man. Are you in the city or the country?

I hope the bastard accidentally blows his head off with it.

Wife put him there because she didn't want him to try and get on the new couch. She sets the alarm everyday and the one day she forgets.

What kind of dog? Sucks, dude. Give the dog free roam of the house. Mine does.

100 lb lab. He usually does have free roam. It was just a perfect day for the thief. Wife feels awful.

Did the cops that responded to the burglary shoot your dog?

That's awful, man. I hope he's caught and your stuff returned.

Do labs make good guard dogs?

man, that is terrible...there is no more vulnerable a feeling than finding out your house has been burglarized...

I think the only time in my life that I would have literally killed someone was just after finding out someone had broken into my house...

we always think of our house as totally private and totally safe...takes a while to get over the feeling that none of that is really true...

Yes they're very protective of they're owners. Or at least mine is
To the OP, hope they catch the bastard & you get your gun back

He didn't shoot him, but was scared shite less when he came running around the corner. He's got a real deep bark.
