Went and wet a line for the first time since July. Caught about 20 trout and as many sheepshead as you wanted to keep. Was nice to get back out on the water.

Hunted both days with my buddy. Limits both days, but it was tough.

Today, we killed all but one drake completely by coincidence, so that was pretty cool.

Went out to hopedale for half the day today. With temp barely making it to 50 under cloudy skies and a 10-15mph north wind, it was cold! Feet were damn near frozen by lunch and fishing was tough so came home. Never got onto a steady bite. Guess they were hunkered down hibernating as i should have been doing the same at home instead

8pt with 1 tine broken on right side. Weighed the 165lbs but he was skinny. Been chasing does for a good while. He smelled strong.

Wow. Ouch.

What do you estimate that tire went to - kids toy or lawn equipment?

12-30 got invited on a spank hunt. 23 ducks & 3 specks.

New Years Eve saw 10 deer but didn't pull the trigger. Full intentions of capping a big doe, but all deer were seen late and Jr. was coming later. When he went with me, we didn't see anything , so I took him and the old man with my squirrel dog.

Still an enjoyable holiday.

Had a big group of pigs come in to the feeder yesterday afternoon. I waited to shoot one of the bigger ones when they were bunched together hoping to get a double in the exit. The 270 Barnes from the Tikka didn't dissapoint. Dropped a good size sow and got a bonus 50 pound piglet from 225 yards.
