Weekend plans thread?

Got visitation and a funeral Friday evening and Saturday morning for a great man. Saturday afternoon, I am going to put a new tarp on my boat shelter and wash the boat. Probably grill something. Sunday will be going to listen for turkeys at daylight then church in the morning. Planning on taking lil Dawg to catch some catfish that afternoon. Got to sand pot calls and chalk box calls at some point. Turkey season starts 2 weeks from Saturday here.

Saturday is my 38th birthday. I will spend it building a bridge across a creek at my FILs, then we will boil crabs and shrimp for the celebration. Sunday will be spent getting ready for the upcoming week. We have a 3 year old and twins on the way, so my outdoor plans are limited until I'm 58.

Not sure yet. Either fishing or finishing building a 100ft long suspension bridge at my hunting grounds in Mississippi and some other deer season prep work.

Think we are fishing Housen Saturday and no clue for Sunday. Wind is suppose to pick up Sunday. Maybe I can convince him to fish that creek behind Piney Point,Mee destroyed them there a few years ago and he won't go back for some reason.

We have our turkey banquet/dinner/fundraiser thing tomorrow night. Saturday and Sunday walking the lease and probably catching one of the LSU baseball games, not sure which order yet. Couple of workouts and whiskey drinking in between.

Going to Toledo for the first time. Hopefully I can make that boat parade one longer as i dont have a clue about the area.
Pretty pumped about this trip, I haven't caught one over 5 pounds before so hopefully this will push me over.
I'll try to get some good drone footage and go pro footage for a nice video..

I haven't been up there in 5 years. Only arm I have really fished is San Miguel. Good luck.
