Saturday - Yak fishing chasing some triple tail most likley

Was messing around last weekend and found a couple under some crab buoys but couldn't get them to take the bait. I'll have live bait with me next time.

I'm on call this weekend but I'm hoping to at least be able to take the boat out to Henderson and jerk some perch.

I will be house looking and watching the mighty Red River reach 34 feet.
Go directly across the street hang a right and fish under the pass bridge. Big blues hang around the pilings with a little of everything else mixed in.
Top Gun is just over the bridge on the right, although Mo's might be in quicker reach. Either way, shrimp, pogies, etc is what works for me down there.
I fish squid and mullet on the gulf side and catch tons of different fish.
You can walk the side jetty all the way to the mouth of the gulf and fish too.
If you have a few hours to kill, go fish behind the fort at the end of Ft. Morgan Rd.

Delacroix or Cocodrie tomorrow. Can't really decide. I've been to Cocodrie but never Delacroix. Will be in a kayak going for my first red on a fly. Good luck reds
