Fished 10 mile creek sunday at the mouth of the Yough. Caught 10 smallies before the rain came down and the creek started to rise. Got off just in time before being swept out in the Yough.

fished Grand Isle Saturday and Sunday in the kayak-

caught about 10 reds on Saturday (kept the 5 smallest, which were between 18-22") No trout.

Sunday I changed spots, catching a few trout and sheepshead early on topwater and Vudu under a cork.
Moved back to the redfish spot of Saturday and sight fished another 20 or so reds into the boat. Nothing substantial in size though.

Obligatory OB kayak fish pic with foot:

Took my friend from Pineville and his son out of Cocodrie Saturday. We didn't tear em up, but put some nice fish on the boat. Added a few more Sunday, but was much slower.

It's fun to take folks out that have never seen salt. Young man caught one 21" red... yea, he liked it.

Both days were windy early, but laid down about 9 or 10.

Anyone else witness the dog on the boat that was so excited about the incoming fish that he fell in at least twice?

I saw a couple of boats with yappy dogs, but never saw one fall in--probably because no one was catching fish around me.
