We did well with the reds this weekend- vermillion bay

A couple buddies of mine and I went to vermillion bay with a couple of good spots we picked up from someone that goes there all the time and just fishes reds. all i'll say is we didn't have to go far from the landing to catch our 4 man limit. also to note- we caught multiple reds with multiple spots, one had 9 all together. I've never seen so many come up with multiple spots like that. That was the most fun I've ever had in the bay. After putting 19 in the boat we went to the pass to try our luck with bull reds. we set up just on the inside of where ship channel is and first cast- BOOM. Caught this guy- was a fun time reeling him in on my medium pole about 45 feet down

Cant see any of the pics. Ive been thinkn about fishin that area since its so close to where I live but I never hear of a successful trip in that area might have to make a run one day.

This is some new shite from Photobucket. They want you to post links to pics on their website so readers can see their ads. If you post the pic directly, they don't make money. So now they're requiring you upgrade your account - $$ - if you wish to do so.

Exactly where in the bay? I fish there in the fall for specs. Not a whole lot of luck with reds

We fought da bay today along with the fricking torrential rain in kayaks. Caught 5 keepers. Was a good time minus the rain
