We have 5 of the 2 man Sportsman Condo deer stands on our lease and every one of them has water in them. They have been closed up since last season and no windows or doors were left open. Has anyone had a similar problem with these stands? If so, how did you alleviate the problem?

We have 6, and every single one sucks at keeping water out. Sportsman Condo sells a "drip kit" to install that is supposed to help. Bought one to try out this year and if it works will equip the rest with one. As expensive as the damn things are, you wouldn't expect them to leak so damn bad.

We have 2 sc3's and haven't had any water issues. It's coming in from the Windows I assume?

Weather strip the windows, that's what we did to fix the problem, cheap and easy.

The water doesn't drip off the ledge that sticks out above each window. Just rolls down it and underneath and into the stand.
