I was young and dumb once. Joined my first hunting club. Killed a couple deer, cleaned 'em and just dumped the guts in the woods off by the side of a club road. Figured the critters would take care of them. Couple of guys wanted to go coon hunting one night... those coon dogs sure found those carcasses quick. Everybody was like, "Who in the hell dumped these deer here!?!" I didn't say a thing. Lesson learned.

I'm sorry, but that's a dumb law. Flies and vultures are nature's expert garbage disposals. Everything returns to the earth. If it's organic, it's not littering.

Oh I agree & I'm sure those two guys do also. Maybe there were signs or something posted on the stream that said you couldn't.

Maybe it wasn't their land. I don't think it's illegal if you own or have right to be on property.

I hate assholes that dump there guts close to my house. I must pick up 20 or so deer legs out my yard every year. Hell, they could down them a mile up the road, but no, they dump them 500' from my house.

I usually dump mine off a bridge to feed the turtles & crawfish
Also keeps the dogs from dragging up bones. Some folks don't give a frick & dump beside the road so the buzzards can bust out a windshield & my dogs bring the bones in my yard

we just dumped the guts about 100 yards into the woods from the road and about 100 yards away from our front gate last night. ETA: On our lease and not visible from the road*
