Last year during hunting season I had a scare loading my 4wheeler on ramps into the back of my truck. It was too steep and almost flipped on top of me. Luckily I was able to lean forward enough to get it on. Not really willing to risk that again, so I come to the outdoor board for help.

Where do you guys recommend finding a secondhand atv trailer to pull behind my truck?

FB Marketplace is a good place to start. Usually dealerships have some used laying around but they will be priced as such

This may be a dumb question, but is there anyway to access Facebook marketplace without having a Facebook?

Should have seen me ride a snapper lawnmower up some ramps on a wheelie and and then turn and go over the side of a Toyota with 6” lift on 34’s. LOL
Own a trailer too now. Found a used by one on marketplace.

I believe there is a way you can look around but you cant communicate wit the sellers unless they happen to put a phone number in the description

I have a 6x10 with a dovetail gate. I love it.

I found it on Craigslist 10 years ago.

Not anymore.
I’ve noticed an increase of trailers on FB market place, with prices that are not as outrageous as last year.

Just park your truck in the street right up against your driveway with the rear wheels touching the driveway curb when loading. Will decrease the incline significantly.

I was looking for one this past summer but the prices for new and used were like double and a half from 2 or 3 years ago (which I guess is everything) but for a small trailer for a fourwheeler it seems there wasn't much difference in price for a larger trailer, when you factored in potential future use of the trailer. They always say get a larger trailer than you want, as it will come in handy.

I can sympathize with loading with ramps, especially when it doesnt have brakes. Thank goodness I thought to put some big firewood down at the base of the bed otherwise id have definitely gone through the back glass. Plus trailers are so much easier. Just make a FB account and use it just for market place.

I’m in West Baton Rouge. Don’t mind traveling in LA

I put an ad in La Sportsman about 10 years ago looking for one. I had a bunch of guys respond and wound up getting a good 5x8 for a decent price.
