Anyone have a dog they duck hunt with outside of the typical lab, boykin, or GSP? Had a guy at work tell me his pops use to have a beagle that was a badass. I told him he was full of shite.

Poodles. Poodles are some of the best water dogs and easy to teach. Just can't imagine the looks you would get.

My environmental science professor in college hunted with a Rottweiler. He swore up and down that it was the best dog that ever hit the marsh.

My beagle use to fetch inside when he was younger he'd even sit until I sent him BUT even though he'll run the frick out of a rabbit in water he'll tiptoe if there's a heavy dew so I doubt he would have fetched in water.
