I just got the itch to kill an Axis buck and hopefully 2-3 doe on a nice ranch in Texas. I'm looking for recommendations for the full experience. Preferably in Central Texas.

I recommend going to The guide page on TexasHuntingForms and make a post with what you are looking for and let the guide send you offers

I'm curious what kind of price range is something like this? What kind of price range is a "management" type of hunt for just meat? They are excellent table fare right?

Have you ever exotic hunted there? I wouldn't reccommend it to anyone.

Just left there. I've been 5 years in a row. Saw 2 trophy axis bucks yesterday. They had a guy there hunting one of them this weekend. He had a shot this morning but there was another one standing behind it and it wouldn't clear.

I'm wanting to kill one too.
They are some good eating. Are there any free range axis hunts. I've been having a hard time finding one.

We used to have a lease close to there. There were thousands of axis running around wild on Segovia Rd. You couldn't make it far without having to stop to let a herd cross. And of course you'd see monsters behind the fences when you came to them. Used to love just riding down that road.

I was just looking at their website. Have you hunted with them before? What was your hunt like?
