Don't know much about the board, but I hear a lot of people have had his problem, and thought some people on this board may have a good idea on how to get it straight.

Won't burn blind, would make things worse.
Will likely have to get legal about it.

Lot's of gray areas on the river. The Corps did a poor job of clearing up all of the issues prior to flooding. Coolies is a prime example.

I'd just start hunting their blind. Since its public and all.

That's really one of the best options. Start beating them to the blind repeatedly and eventually take it over as "your" spot.

In LA game wardens don't enforce trespassing laws, however they will write you a ticket for "illegally" taken game if somebody is caught trespassing and the SO writes them a citation for it. That's about the extent of GWs involvement.

I'd hire a surveyor to come out there. They can help you deem whether it is "navigable" or not.

Im not telling you not to grill some burgers in their blind, but here is a case in Bossier of blind burning on the river leading to arson charges. Hot topic

I'd burn it after the second time they came back after being told not to. At least rip it up. It's your property

Would you think it is okay for 100 people to walk through your side yard to get to a bar behind your house?

You could do this to the blind, then post the pics here.

Yeah, that blind burning deal turned out bad for those involved.

I can see both sides of the issue here. If I were the hunters and thought I were on public property and neither the GW or Sherrif Dept. were telling me to move along after being notified, I'd probably keep hunting it (I wouldn't walk across private property though). There have been plenty of instances of private landowners trying to claim more than they own out there (not saying you are). One example is McDade when the guy used to put T-posts across the cut.

I would dump 200lbs of corn in that pond and then call the game wardens.

Just talked to a Fed WGF. He said if it is a navigable waterway, yes they can hunt it by sitting in a boat. However, they can not erect any structure that touches the ground. Also, they cant stand on that ground if you in fact own the property.

Take a pic of their boat registration and text it to the LA Green jeans. They cant walk across your property.

Incorrect. Technically it's first come first serve.

Maybe that's the rule on some lands or in WMAs but generally speaking you can't just do that.

Sounds like this is what you can get them on as far as trespassing.

The corn idea is fricking awesome though.

On the Red, when you float that big nice pontoon blind out there and stake it into the ground, you do not "own" it. If I got to Clyde Tiptons blind at 2am and he shows up at 4am, all he can do is threaten me with a country arse whoopin.
