Price is definitely a concern because I'm looking to buy 6

I don't care about HD video or anything like that. 3-5mp pictures are fine

My main concerns are what distance can it pick up and how well is it's battery life.

I've most brands, but I usually run a bunch of Bushnell Trophy cams. They've got the longest battery life of any camera I've tried and really good picture quality. I think they run around $200 a pop.

Instead you Have to decide how many seconds you want the delay how many pictures u want it to take how long you want it to be between pictures do you want video or still photos long distance or short distance flash or no flash.. Hell by the time I figure all that shite out its done take 50 pictures of my pissed off face the when I go pull the card I have 50 pictures of my face and a dam bitch coon eating my 10 a sac corn

Saw Moultrie D500 at Walmart yesterday for $50. 7mp camera and uses 8 AA batteries. Advertised 70' illumination and low glo infrared. Don't know much about cameras but may pick up a few.

By far the best seller on Amazon, gets good reviews for the money so I just bought one for some land in Florida and will try it out next week. There is another more expensive Moultrie that is supposed to be a lot better for night vision and distance but it's more than twice the price. I may try it after I test out the A5 and see how it does. I'll be living on good acreage next to a wildlife refuge so I plan to use several.

I would steer away from the A5. I had three of them and each one has broken in some shape, form or fashion. One went through batteries every week even when only taking a couple of pictures. One would black out all the night time pics, and once would only take videos. I had quite a few times that I would have all my bait eaten which was about 15 feet from the camera and would not have any pictures, or the trigger speed was so slow that I got plenty of pictures of the deer/hog rear end. Plus the A5's I had used 4 C batteries which added some weight to the my pack when I would have the change them every week. I have bought a couple of stealth cams and have been happy with the operation of them.

A5s are junk. Bought two last year and neither made it through the season.

Stay away from Wild Game Innovations completely.

I just bought a Stealthcam G42NG or something like that. It had awesome reviews on Amazon at 120$ when everywhere else had it for 160-180

Browning. Had a bunch of Moultrie's and always had problems with them. Bought them because they were cheap and I got exactly what I paid for. Switched to Browning and so far so good.

I use wildgame nano's. Love them. 4 AA's last around 6 months (if on pic only mode)

Wildgame innovation's cheapest ones at dicks are 49.99. Last at least a full season and take great pics
