Yes the image in my last post illustrates that fault and others in south LA. So many people think it's crazy to have faulting down here since we associate them with major rifts or active areas like the San Andreas but it's one of the main tools geologists use when prospecting for oil reserves in the gulf so it's not a new concept.
If you drive north along college drive just north of the interstate, the brief but steep uphill jog you take is a good example of the BR fault scarp.
