Thinking about making a trip to Housen this weekend with all this warm weather.

Not heard any, but down there, you can't go wrong with: trap, suspending Rogue, slow rolled spinner or slow retrieved swim bait. The Reaction Innovations Little Dipper is killer down there.

Black and Blue football jigs in 25ft of water on grass humps and creeks has a good big bite right now....late evenings after a warm sunshine day can pick up a few on small cranks.

White perch are deep on brush piles and feeder creeks hard....22+ feet deep on shiners.

She just gave up another 10+ pounder this past week.

I hate to pull an oleballcoach, but the lake has been producing very well every since it shook back from being super low 3 years ago.

Clyde is right...broke the record last year for fish over 10lbs off one lake in one year. Good Luck

I'll be in my kayak, so I won't be fishing deep water. I don't want to get run over

I need to go with my bro again. Had one of my best days ever fishing last year in February on alabama rigs fishing deep water grass

I have a bad feeling it will become the Bass Fishing Mecca to replace Falcon and Amistad in the next year or so.

Same kind of thing happened with Choke Canyon...

Clyde...you right people taking notice..only difference is Toledo is big enough to handle the pressure....this happened back in the late 70's at Toledo and it handled it.

And remember, this is not all that more early than when that dude and his family were killing them on SR-5s.

Tigerfan...how in the world do you not get a bite...have never understood that. Did you changes tactics anytime? attack different area of water column? change lures? speeds? terrain?
