Fished yesterday and caught 24, only five today, Slow for my boat, 2 of our group had 25 today, spinnerbaits, plastics fish in 1to 2 ft, gonna get better Friday sat and sun

Me and my buddy usually fights over who drives home. We both are tired and want to drink. I usually lose since it's his boat and he runs the life draining energy sucking trolling motor. I started invited friends who could only come if they drive home but now that his kid is old enough to fish, I'm screwed.

Anyone wanna give me a clue on fishing the blue lake area? We normally stay in the cove and protected waters behind the island by the launch. Thanks.

Heard they were pitching dark baits in the brush.
We will be going to Housen, Carolina rig early then hit the brush late. I used to have your number but when I switched phones I lost half my contacts. I'll try to post Saturday's results. Blue bird day so fish will be right to cover or deep IMO.

My last two trips up there we've caught 32 keepers only fishing that area. One day we had 17 with our best five and the other we had 19. I'll be there again tomorrow fishing a tourney.

Just one day. And I won't mind, hell there were boats everywhere last weekend and we still caught them. That's a very popular area.
We were catching most of our fish on black and blue beaver baits flipping the bushes like THIS
Also caught several on spinnerbaits in the grass out off the bank.

I just caught my first one and I haven't even left the office. My assistant was sitting in the kitchen and I flipped a dark lizard in the door way and started twitching it. All of sudden I hear Oh shite, a mouse! Then I hear her damnit I am going to kill you, you know I hate mice.

I did this years ago. Secretary had a melt down and left for the day. I don't think she ever got over it. Rest of the office was in tears.

We will be in a Maroon Red Ranger with a kid on the boat. Going to hang around Piney Point unless there's no bite. Used to love to fish San Miguel when the grass was there. Also good night fishing there.
