If you want to fish the south end check out Joe Joslin. Both times I fished with him I learned a lot about the lake and caught a ton of bass.

Some buddies and I are staying at Fin and Feather the weekend of the 23rd. Driving down that Thirsday night and fishing through Sunday. It'll be my first time out there and I'm realy looking forward to it. I'm more of a saltwater guy, so I'm super pumped to get out there.

That area is one of the best on the lake IMO. Good luck

Throw some Watermelon/Red or Watermelon/Magic flukes in the grass....

How many boats can I expect to see out there on a given weekend during this time of the year?

I went this past Monday, wind was brutal, rained pretty solid after 12, by 2 shite had hit the fan, so we packed it in.
Caught 12, kept 10, Strike King red eye shad 3/4 oz over grass, find you a cove with access to deep water. I was sitting in 13 throwing in, but probably 5 feet on the other side of the boat it dropped to 27. Second cast of the day I boated a 5.5, best 10 went 26.11. Best of luck, post a report when you get back.

Hes been writing about catching on traps... cherry bomb to be exact. Said hes been having trouble finding them, but you can order them from bill lewis lures. In my experience any red trap/lipless crank works. I love a fluke there in the spawn though or a humdinger on the grass flats over the next month.
