I've had no issues with my sigma. Did some mods to lower the trigger pull and its been a pleasure to shoot ever since. Bought it 9 years ago and have had 1 round stovepipe that I can remember.

Now if I was in the market for a new 9mm today, I'd get the shield. Really like the feel of this gun.
